Introduction

Clouddley approached me to redesign their entire dashboard to align with their upgraded services. The previous version lacked clarity in deployment processes, made database management difficult, and didn’t provide users with essential traffic tracking features. Adding a custom domain was complex, and there were no team workspaces. Through research, iterative testing, and feature expansions, we transformed the platform into a more intuitive and powerful tool, now featured on Business Insider Africa.

Process

UX Research & Problem Identification

To understand user pain points, we conducted:

1. User Interviews: Conversations with existing users revealed frustrations with deployment, traffic monitoring, and domain configuration.

2. Analytics Review: Data showed low engagement in key features due to complex workflows.

3. Competitive Analysis: Compared Clouddley with Kubernetes alternatives to identify gaps.
